A site based Commissioning engineer with Trend or Tridium will be essential for this role, as you will be working on high valued control systems on various sites within the construction group delivering major projects.
The role will involve working on a variety of projects, ensuring that BEMS installations are commissioned effectively, meeting project requirements and client expectations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising building energy performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving sustainability goals.

The Role:
- Lead the commissioning process for project installations
- Coordinate with the project manager and project stakeholders to ensure a smooth-running project and integration with other building systems to ensure seamless operation
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop commissioning plans and ensure that commissioning activities are completed in line with these time lines
- Conduct functional testing of BEMS components and subsystems to verify proper operation and adherence to design specifications
- Identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase. Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting procedures to address system problems and optimise performance
- Generate comprehensive commissioning reports, documenting test procedures, results, and any deviations from design specifications. Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and project documentation
- As the on site engineer you will be the first point of contact for the client, you will communicate commissioning progress, address concerns, and provide technical support as needed whilst maintaining customer satisfaction
- Provide training and support to building operators and maintenance personnel on BMS operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
- Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to building energy management systems. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of commissioning methodologies and tools
