Public Health Design Engineer / Senior Public Health Design Engineer
Dubai
20,000 - 27,000 AED per month all incl.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Public Health Design Engineer from an MEP Building services consultancy design background to join a leading architectural & engineering practice in the heart of Dubai.
Healthcare projects experience & a solid understanding of HTM's is preferred.

Your new employer is an international architectural & engineering design consultancy with a rich history in the across the globe for delivering innovative projects within the high rise residential & commercial, mixed use and healthcare sectors.
They offer a comprehensive range of architectural, Civil & Structural MEP, planning and project management services, with full support from in-house interior and graphic design divisions. Model making, extensive computer and photographic facilities, as well as full administrative support complete this service of total design.
I have personally recruited for this leading international architectural & engineering company in the UAE for over 15 years & have seen firsthand the growth of many engineers whom I have been fortunate enough to place with them.
Role & requirements - Public Health Design Engineer
As a Public health design engineer, your rich experience (5-10+ years) will equip you to exceed in this challenging, but very rewarding role.
You will independently prepare the design of the Public health / sanitary systems to include the completion of code reviews, preparation of the basis of design, system calculations, review of Revit CAD drawings, specification preparation, site investigations, and other such design as required to execute the Public Health construction for new or renovated buildings.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience working within an International Design Firm, with a focus on Public Health engineering Design.
- Local UAE experience is essential - codes, standards & submission processes
- Must have a recognized degree from a recognised university
- Excellent technical knowledge of commercial mechanical / public health systems and equipment including: Domestic Hot and Cold Water, Drainage, Gas Supply, Fire Fighting, Compressed Air, HVAC etc.
- Ideally experienced with HX2 IES or Hevacomp
- Ideally MASHRAE or MCIBSE certified
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and proper draughting methods and techniques
- Previous healthcare/hospital projects experience preferred.
