Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor- Near Darlington, County Durham

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for one of our key clients in the construction industry. This reputable consultancy firm specialises in design and engineering services across various sectors, including aviation, defence, and public infrastructure. Established over 60 years, they operate a network of offices throughout Europe. They are committed to delivering sustainable, innovative solutions, shaping a healthier, sustainable, and safer world.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procuring equipment, contracts, subcontracts, and services for the company's projects. Experience in both M&E and Process Engineering Construction packages is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Procure equipment, contracts, subcontracts, and services for company projects

• Work closely with project teams and customers to deliver high-quality service and meet their requirements

• Develop repeat business through exceptional service delivery

• Review main contracts and provide advice to project teams

• Provide cost and commercial reporting

• Experience with NEC4 contracts is required

• EPCM experience is preferable

• Ability to travel to client sites; driving is a must

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality service to clients

• Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
