They are currently seeking a Senior Civil Drainage Engineer to join their team and contribute to their mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage drainage design projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments of drainage systems, including stormwater management, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various sectors, providing integrated solutions that align with project goals.
- Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and professional development within the team.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil drainage engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in drainage design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.
