Your impact to the business:
Senior Level Telecom Engineer to lead and execute telecommunications designs for mission-critical data centre projects. You'll be designing infrastructure for greenfield and brownfield data centre facilities, hyper-scale and enterprise client fit-outs, and other critical projects, ensuring the stability and resilience of data systems relied upon by millions.
In this role you will;
- Lead the design of telecom infrastructure for mission-critical facilities including outside plant systems, cabling, cable tray systems, network room layouts, and more.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, architectural, etc.).
- Develop telecom designs in compliance with local and national codes, client standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage project deadlines and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
- Mentor junior designers and help grow our telecommunications expertise internally.
The Necessities:
- 2 or 4-year degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of telecom design experience, with strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Experience in mission-critical projects preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management tools like Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification preferred.
