Your impact to the business:

Senior Level Telecom Engineer to lead and execute telecommunications designs for mission-critical data centre projects. You'll be designing infrastructure for greenfield and brownfield data centre facilities, hyper-scale and enterprise client fit-outs, and other critical projects, ensuring the stability and resilience of data systems relied upon by millions.

In this role you will;

• Lead the design of telecom infrastructure for mission-critical facilities including outside plant systems, cabling, cable tray systems, network room layouts, and more.
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, architectural, etc.).
• Develop telecom designs in compliance with local and national codes, client standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage project deadlines and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• Mentor junior designers and help grow our telecommunications expertise internally.

The Necessities:

• 2 or 4-year degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of telecom design experience, with strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience in mission-critical projects preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management tools like Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) certification preferred.
