Looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a highly motivated person to join the expanding sales team as a business development manager capable of selling building management systems to new and existing clients throughout the North of England. You will help maintain the existing client base and also develop new relationships to help grow us as a business.

We are a Trend Technology Centre supplying and installing Trend BMS products and have agreements in place to sell and install Siemens BMS, Tridium BMS, Schneider BMS and JCI BMS.

The Role:

  • Understand specifications, drawings, schedules and prepare point schedules, tech subs, panel schedules and equipment lists.
  • Liaison with sub-contractor enquires for panel work and electrical work
  • Estimating jobs using costing sheets in excel
  • Prepare quotations using word/pdf
  • Send out quotations to clients / customers
  • Chase quotations and develop relationships with contractors
  • Face to face meetings with customers to secure orders & future work
  • Negotiation with customers to secure orders
  • Involvement with on/off site design meetings with contractors / consultants / clients
  • Develop own enquiries & orders

Key skills:

  • Must have excellent communication and dedicated to providing an excellent service to the customers
  • Must have good organisational skills & time management
  • Must be PC literature with experience of Microsoft office
  • Must be willing to work hours to meet deadlines
  • Must be willing to travel nationwide to suit the business
