Inventor CAD Manager contract role

Our client is an award-winning and well known, design and engineering consultancy.

We are currently looking to recruit a contract Inventor CAD Manager to be based on site in Reading.

The role

This is a client based CAD Manager role (based on site), providing all of the support to CAD, BIM, Surveying, Compliance for the contractor configuration management function.

You will be leading a team of Mechanical CAD Designers and Engineers using Inventor, supporting a customer base of Manufacturing Engineers, Operational Facilities, Production Agencies to provide the equipment that meets the needs of manufacturing processes.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Experience in a managing / leadership role in a similar sector

Digital integration of Mechanical CAD delivery with other systems e.g. Asset Management, Facilities CAD, GIS and BIM

Degree or HNC/D in an engineering subject or equivalent.

Proven understanding and experience of manufacturing & engineering methods and processes.

Experience of the following:

Modelling principles
Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD other software packages
Equipment Data and its application within the sector
Hierarchical Assembly Data
Common data environment and Electronic Data Management Systems such as Vault, Teamcenter
