We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our state-of-the-art Building Energy Management System solutions to commercial and industrial clients.

We are a Trend Technology Centre supplying and installing Trend BMS products and have agreements in place to sell and install Siemens BMS, Tridium BMS, Schneider BMS and JCI BMS.

What we are looking for:

You will be self-motivated & proactive with a strong desire to achieve in a sales environment. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as the ability to work well in a team or alone.

We understand that you may not have any prior experience with BMS or if you do, you may not have any sales experience, we will provide full training both in house and externally to develop you into a strong sales person with the technical knowledge to back up your sales. We are looking for candidates who have experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Building Services.

The Role:

  • Identify potential clients and tender opportunities
  • Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop and execute effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Engage with clients to understand their energy management needs and present tailored solutions that address their specific requirements
  • Conduct product demonstrations to clients & consultants, showcasing the benefits and features of available BMS & Energy Management solutions
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and promote repeat business
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the building energy management sector
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide post-sales support, ensuring seamless implementation and customer satisfaction
