What does the role involve?

In this role, you'll work within the Civil Structures team on bridges and related projects, acting as Lead Design Engineer. You will deliver and check design solutions, coordinate with other disciplines, and offer technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues. You'll be involved from the project's start to its completion, assisting the Project Manager with clarifying the project brief, setting milestones, managing internal meetings, and ensuring designs meet quality, time, and cost requirements. You'll also handle detailed design work, review design changes, and implement process improvements where needed.

To be successful in this role you'll possess:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering,
• 8+ years of structures design experience with proficiency in design software like STRAP and LUSAS
• You'll also need experience with Eurocodes and DMRB
• Good project governance skills
• Experience in Client focused work.
• Must have achieved ICE or IstructE Chartership
• Full UK driving licence
