Based in Gävle, Sweden

with a Mechanical and/ or Electrical experience to support my clients needs.

Data Centre experience is preferred

This leading contractor have been working in Europe within a growing data centre market. In which time my client has successfully fulfilled their role in the completion of many of the U.K's and Europes biggest data centres. They are a team of dedicated and experienced professionals drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, who are committed to project deliverables. The philosophy is simple: Achieve and maintain the highest possible standards of services commissioning management.

My client is committed to provide excellence for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruiting Commissioning Managers to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for ensuring effective testing and commissioning of fast-track programme on Data Centres.

Daily activities, but not limited to:

• Review of M&E tech subs and drawings for Commissionability review.
• Review of Cx Method Statements and contractor test packs.
• Ability to chair meetings and to converse with client and contractors.
• Ability to understand programmes.
• Authoring test scripts.
• Witnessing of Electrical or Mechanical Testing.
• Good document control.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work under pressure/fast-paced projects.
• Flexible to working hour changes pending site activities.
• Understanding of BMS/PMS/Fire Alarm/Security systems, critical/redundant systems
• (Electrical) Thorough understanding of HV/LV systems and testing.
• (Electrical) Thorough understanding of BMS/PMS/Generators and testing.
• (Mechanical) Thorough understanding of Mechanical systems including Chillers, CRACs systems and testing.
• (Mechanical) Thorough understanding of fire suppression systems and testing.
• (Mechanical) Thorough understanding of water treatment and flushing activities.

Personal Attributes

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.
• Understanding and implementation of project engineering procedures.
• Good communication skills and a team player with a willingness to learn.
• Attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Previous experience with internal trades and knowledge of UK building regulations
