The Job
Mechanical Engineers - Hyperscale Data Centre, Design & Build
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality control for all engineering construction activities, focusing on Mechanical disciplines.
- Review and assure compliance of all QA/QC documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and update inspection and test plans, ensuring only current drawings are in use on-site.
- Conduct thorough material inspections and oversee testing methods, maintaining strict adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to deliver exceptional quality standards and perform regular quality audits.
- Perform daily site inspections and engage in detailed reporting of findings and non-compliance issues.
- Support project management through accurate documentation and effective communication with all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in data center infrastructure (Power/Cooling).
- Proactive, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD/Revit, and strong numeracy skills.
- Experience with data center testing, commissioning, and a working knowledge of Uptime Tiers & TIA 942-B (preferred).
- Willingness to travel and engage directly with clients and consultancies.
