Our large, multidisciplinary client is looking for an Fire Engineer/Consultant that is keen to work on a variety of large scale projects - anything from health care to education, commercial to retail and tall buildings!

In this role:

You will be joining an approachable, creative team in Bristol where you play a key part in delivering fire safety design solutions in the UK and internationally. This involves:

• Feasibility Studies for master-planning and concept design stages
• Attendance at Design Team Meetings
• Fire Safety Strategies to ensure early approval from authorities
• Advanced Fire Safety Design to demonstrate fire safety engineering compliance
• Fire Strategy Drawings for more detailed designs
• Expert advice and support during the Statutory Approval and construction process
• Evacuation Strategies and modelling software
• Smoke Management and modelling software
• Structural Fire Engineering
• Optimisation of Fire Safety Systems
• Fire Risk Management and Assessment
• Fire Investigation

Requirments:

• Bsc degree in related discipline
• Relevant experience in Fire Safety Engineering design within a building services context
• Technical understanding in relevant design software
• Practical experience in working to British Standard, NFPA, IBC, IFC
