Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Contract

I am working with a client of mine who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in high-rise residential projects to join their team on a contract basis in Manchester. This role offers up to £44 per hour, outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design for high-rise residential projects.
• Design HVAC, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical design for high-rise residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, heating, ventilation).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Ability to manage and mentor teams.
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
