About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of industrial solutions, specialising in engineering, manufacturing, construction services and more, across the UK and Europe. They provide specialist solutions to a variety of projects. In this long term plan for growth and innovation, they are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Drainage to join their team in their Central London location.

Position Overview

The company is in search of a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer proficient in drainage design and management. They desire someone with a track record of project leadership, strong technical skills, and a knack for solving complex engineering problems. This role involves spearheading drainage design projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and ensuring deliverables meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Play a key part in the design and analysis of drainage systems across various civil engineering projects, including storm water management, flood control, and drainage infrastructure.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess drainage requirements and mitigate flood risks effectively.
• Draft comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for drainage systems.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance for junior engineers and support staff.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a specialised focus on drainage design and management.
