Position: Associate Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Manchester

Salary: - £negotiable depending on experience

Working in partnership with our client, the team are looking to hire an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to be based in the building services team in Manchester.

The role:

As an Associate Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and delivering designs for Data Centre and Mission Critical sector. The role is to work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers. The role is instrumental in helping to continue to grow and develop a team of technically competent engineers within this high performing sector, as well as seeking new opportunities to develop the business.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Experience working in Data Centre and Mission Critical sector would be ideal but if you have any of these sectors that would also be beneficial Healthcare, Education, Science and Research, Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Defence and high-end mixed-use developments.

Client facing experience, managing relationships, attending project meetings and briefing your project team.

Experience in leading and managing the workload of a project team including specialist groups.

Mentoring support junior / Graduate staff and offering support and guidance.

Experience in Mechanical Engineering, and equivalent qualifications. Ideally an industry recognised membership such as CIBSE/IMECHE.

Proven technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design.

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design consultancy environment and experience across a range of projects.
