Associate/AD Power Systems Engineer (electrical) with ETAP

Location: London

Salary: £75-80k DOE

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct load flow analysis for optimal power distribution and system integrity
  • Coordinate protection systems for enhanced reliability and safety.
  • Contribute to the resilience of power systems under dynamic conditions.
  • Validate input data for accurate simulation results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing results and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for power system simulations and design activities.
  • Contribute to the improvement of simulation methodologies and expand the team's capabilities to meet demand.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Engineering.
  • Proven experience in power systems engineering, preferably in the data centre industry.
  • Proficiency in ETAP (preferred), DigSilent, or SKM.
  • Experience with Load Flow, Short Circuit Analysis, Protection Coordination etc
  • Experience in Transient Stability and Earthing Studies is desirable.
