This leading multidisciplinary consultancy committed to delivering innovative solutions across various sectors. The dedicated Civil Team works collaboratively with the Structural Team, contributing to a wide range of projects.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join this dynamic Civil Team. In this role, you will support Structural team projects while also managing your own Civil Engineering assignments. This position is ideal for experienced Civil Engineers or Technicians looking to advance their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Structural Team on multidisciplinary projects.
- Design and analyse road and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to deliver project requirements.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in road and drainage design; familiarity with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- (For Technicians) A desire to transition into a professional engineering role, with support for professional development.
- Minimum 4 years' experience on relevant UK based Mission Critical projects e.g. Data Centres, Distribution, Healthcare
