Director of Construction

Your impact to the business:

As the Director of Construction, you will to lead and manage projects in the Southeast region and other markets. This role requires hands-on leadership, coordinating all aspects of data centre operations, including site management, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Provide leadership and direction for the Southeast data centre market.
• Lead and manage data centre campus teams.
• Oversee and manage individual project budgets and subcontractor/vendor/consultant budgets.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform quality control duties, ensuring all work complies with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities and ensure proper site inspections and compliance.
• Conduct regular project site walk-throughs to monitor progress and assist with future planning.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and address any issues.
• Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Identify and address any deficiencies, ensuring timely resolution.

The Necessities:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of construction experience required.
• 1+ years of data center experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Project).
• Experience with Yardi, Procor, and Prolog is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Division 2-10 (concrete through finish trade).
• Ability to read blueprints and monitor health and safety on the job site.
