Job Title: Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location: Frankfurt
Salary: €55,000 - €95,000 (depending on experience and grade level)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate/Principal Mechanical Engineer based in Frankfurt on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading major projects in the development, design and coordination of engineering project services for MEP installations, systems, equipment and facilities
- Cost and profit diagnosis on projects including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids
- Reviewing the status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required. Preparing project reports for management, client or others
- Developing and specifying applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes
- Surveying tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations
- Specifying activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements
- Representing the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams
- Ensuring engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards
- Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to client
- Ensuring risk and performance monitoring analysis takes place through effective systems of internal control and delegation
- Taking a holistic view in the selection and application of engineering concepts and solutions
- Supporting the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective.
What you need:
- BSc/BEng in appropriate engineering discipline/BEng Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or have sufficient equivalent experience
- Chartered Eng status with a relevant recognised institution
- Experience of having managed and designed MEP/building services projects in Germany
- Appreciation & working knowledge of contract and business law
- Presentation skills
- Leadership & mentoring skills
