Job Title: Senior/Principal ICT Engineer

Location: Berlin/Düsseldorf/Frankfurt
Salary: €45,000 - €80,000 (depending on experience and grade level)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior/Principal ICT Engineer based in Berlin, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt on a permanent basis.

• Work closely with the ICT Director and Technical Director to develop and maintain client relationships inside the business, with external customers, and key business partners.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading major projects in the development, design and coordination of engineering project services
• Reviewing the status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.
• Preparing project reports for management, client or others
• Representing the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams
• Ensuring engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards
• Day to day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to client
• Supporting the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective

What you need:

• A degree in a relevant ICT infrastructure engineering discipline
• Relevant past employment examples include: IT/multi-disciplinary consulting, ICT consultancy and project management, security consultancy, construction project management (with a technology emphasis), network technology vendor/manufacturer or a network systems integration contractor.
• ICT infrastructure design experience, building ICT fit-out migration and occupation

Although not essential, it would be beneficial if you have technical understanding of:

• Critical facilities/data centre design
• Campus networks
• LAN ethernet switching
• Wi-fi network communications
• Structured cabling systems
• Fibre optic networks
• Data cabling containment systems
• Telecommunication network infrastructure and services
