A client of mine is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Edinburgh on a permanent basis, to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanical engineer to join our team at our Edinburgh office to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK and internationally.
Working across a variety of sectors including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Rail, Workplace and Residential, you will work in a team of expert engineers and technicians, and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to help manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients.
You'll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering, and having gained substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (Ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, and knowledge of design of public health systems etc), you have an extensive portfolio of experience demonstrating your familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focused approach. Experience in defence would be highly beneficial.
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
