We’re working with a respected engineering consultancy that’s expanding its Structures team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company delivering innovative and sustainable building projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure.

The Role

You’ll be part of a skilled team designing and analysing a wide range of building structures. Working closely with architects, clients, and other engineers, you’ll help deliver creative, practical, and sustainable design solutions from concept to completion.

You’ll also support and mentor junior engineers, take responsibility for design reviews, and play an active role in maintaining technical excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structural engineering projects across multiple sectors.

• Produce calculations, reports, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.

• Check and review the work of junior engineers and technicians.

• Ensure all work complies with British Standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations.

• Keep sustainability and safety at the core of all designs.

• Help develop client relationships and contribute to business development when needed.

About You

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).

• Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE) or working towards chartership.

• Experience in building structures and structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, or MasterSeries.

• Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A proactive attitude and passion for creative, sustainable design.
