About the Opportunity

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design, management, and delivery of complex structural engineering projects. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, coordinate with design teams, and mentor junior engineers as part of a friendly and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of projects across multiple sectors.

• Manage project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and contractors.

• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure communication throughout project lifecycles.

• Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and technical oversight.

• Review and approve design documentation, calculations, and reports.

• Ensure all designs meet current regulations, sustainability targets, and safety standards.

• Contribute to business development activities and support bid submissions.

About You

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).

• Several years of professional experience within structural engineering.

• Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer (CEng or MIStructE) status.

• Proficient in design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, MasterSeries, or ETABS.

• Knowledge of Revit is desirable for model coordination.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others.

• A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
