**Senior Electrical Engineer**

 Engineer Birmingham | Lead Complex Projects | Progression to Principal Level

Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer ready to take ownership of major projects and play a key role in the growth of a successful engineering team?

 We’re working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to help deliver high-profile projects across multiple sectors.

This is an opportunity to combine technical leadership, client engagement and project management while working on schemes that have a lasting impact on the built environment.

 The business has a strong reputation for technical excellence and provides a platform for ambitious engineers looking to progress into Principal and leadership positions.

 **The Role**

You’ll take responsibility for the electrical discipline on significant projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery while managing stakeholders and supporting junior team members.

 **Your responsibilities will include:**

- Leading electrical design delivery from feasibility through to completion.
- Managing project programmes, resources and technical outputs.
- Building relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.
- Reviewing and approving designs, calculations and specifications.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project delivery.
- Managing risk, quality and commercial aspects of projects.
- Undertaking site visits and overseeing commissioning activities.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- Contributing to business growth and future project opportunities.

**About You**

- Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Strong consultancy background within the building services sector.
- Experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical building services design.
- Commercial awareness and project management capability.
- Working towards or already holding CEng status.
- Passionate about mentoring and developing others.
