4D BIM Technician

A leading London based Civil/Structural Engineering consultancy is currently looking to hire a 4D BIM Technician on a contract basis. Our client works on high profile International buildings and infrastructure projects both across the UK and Internationally.

Due to a significant demand from their clients an experienced 4D BIM Technician is required to join their team. Our client is looking for:

• 3-5 years construction industry experience minimum
• Fully proficient in Synchro Pro – at least 3 years practical experience
• Preparation of construction programmes using either Asta, MS Project or Primavera
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit or Bentley MicroStation (Open Buildings) preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge and expertise in construction methodologies

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Delivering 4D models to the projects construction programme
• Attending design meetings and showcasing latest 4D models to facilitate better design decisions from the team.
• Refine 4D model both during design meetings and after
• Assist with the development and implementation of Synchro office standards
• Be eager to explore emerging technologies in the 4D/VDC space and work with in-house platform ‘Reveal’ based on a gaming engine.
