Associate Director Job, London

We have a current opportunity for a Associate Director on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.

This consultancy are a team of multi-award winning engineers, sustainability consultants and environmental designers and they are actively looking for an Associate or Associate Director to join them and form part of their leadership team.

You would be responsible for managing your own project design team and providing leadership, technical support and management resources essential to the design and decision making for the practice and for team management accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing the consultancy practice at meetings with project clients and other stakeholders.
  • Meeting or exceeding specific revenue targets on a yearly basis as identified by the project director.
  • Identify new work opportunities for your team and the overall practice.
  • Meet regularly with all team members to ensure any issues are identified and rectified accordingly.
  • Provide workload financial forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress updates and reports.
  • Train staff in all phases (RIBA Stage 1-5) of the design process to ensure continuation of technical design operation.
  • Direct the quality assurance and design QA in the office and within the team.

Experience/ Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 10 years of specific Mechanical/ Electrical design or Sustainability experience.
  • Great communication and listening skills
  • Preferably Chartered Engineer status
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities displayed in previous roles of a similar nature
  • Project management experience
