Job Title: Business Development Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + Commission + Excellent Benefits

Location: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire (Remote)

My client has a burgeoning order book and continues to experience exceptional interest from existing customers along with new opportunities – and they now have a need to further expand their growing team, by bringing in a Business Development Manager.

The client pride themselves on their excellent reactive & planned maintenance services to housing association portfolios, Commercial Real Estate, Major Fast-food chains, Pharmaceutical, manufacturing and engineering sites, in addition to our agile delivery of CAT A / CAT B Project fit-out programmes.

As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include –

  • Developing and maintaining existing accounts on the HVAC side, identifying new opportunities
  • Seek & build new client relationships
  • Selling maintenance service contracts
  • Asset Management (understand when a unit is going to need changing before it needs to be changed)
  • Track the status of opportunities, presenting month review of data on the progress
  • Focusing around the South East region
  • In-depth knowledge of upcoming industry tender opportunities
  • Delivering excellent customer experiences, enhancing opportunities for repeat work

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with the following skills/experience –

  • Sales experience & knowledge in the installation and ongoing servicing of HVAC, Chillers and M&E assets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercially aware individual
  • Good knowledge and use of Social Media platforms, and MS Office
  • Organised and resourceful
