An exciting role with a large Engineering Consultancy in Central London. This Chartered Associate Director role is for someone who has experience of Drainage, Highways, Rail, Utilities, flood risk and of course leading teams within a similar role. It is vital our progressive, well established client appoint an AD with strong leadership skills and the ability to be client facing providing technical knowledge to clients within a HS2 project and beyond.

Chartered Associate Director (Civils)


Central London

£65,000 – £75,000

Here at Energi People we are working with a fantastic, award-winning consultancy, based in Central London. Our client is continuously growing their Civils team and they have seen some great success through these unprecedented times. As a result, they are now in pursuit of an Associate Director to join the team to lead on major projects within Network Rail, HS2 and Urban Regeneration.

It is essential for this role that the successful Chartered Associate Director is Chartered and has Highway Design, Project Management, Utilities, Flood risk and Drainage experience. On top of this, the consultancy will also expect the successful candidate to be proficient in Civils 3D and Micro Drainage. This role is to head up a team and will need a candidate with that experience as well as being strong and decisive, showing good leadership qualities and head up the day to day operations and control of HS2 project.

To be successful, the Chartered Associate Director must be competent enough to lead under their own guidance with no supervision. In addition, they must be able to manage and lead your own package of works whilst being knowledgeable enough to be the point of contact for the client and speak confidently about Flood risk, Drainage and many other technical aspects of the projects with clients. The role is similar to that of a Design Manager type role but, with commercial responsibility as well.

The Associate Director role is an urgent fill and our fantastic client are looking for candidates to start asap. This consultancy is very good at progressing Engineers and they offer a rotation where you would be involved in numerous aspects of the companies work-streams and as a result, you would be able to liaise comfortably with numerous other disciplines relevant to the project. This means coordinating numerous teams and making it your business to find out who you need to be in contact with.
