My clients is a well known Civil Engineering business who you will see on a number of infrastructure projects taking the role of principle contractor. Due to continued growth my client is looking for a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to joining their Rail team undertaking Rail , Civil and Electrical works in London and the South East. Even with their size they maintain a “family feel ” environment with a heavy and dedicated focus on their employees well being and recently having seminars on subjects such as quality of sleep . They give trust and autonomy to their team which in turn creates a happy , loyal , balanced and progressive environment.

Essential Experience:

– Proven background in Civil, Rail Electrical projects

– Minimum of 5 years + experience (10 + if Commercial Manager)

– Knowledge of the NEC contract

– Experience of UK consultancy and/or design and build projects

Duties:

– Depending on level the role could involve mentoring and management of other surveyors

– Reporting Profit & Loss

– Rail projects

– Existing and new projects depending on level
