A civil/structural practice with multiple offices UK wide with a heavy influence in the maritime sector requires a Civil/Structural Maritime engineer for a contract 6 month assignment.
This firm is involved with projects across the UK and internationally and are looking for a Civil/Structural Maritime Engineer who has design experience in relation to maritime structures (ports, harbours, jetties, quay walls etc…)
The successful Maritime Engineer must have a good understanding of civil/structural design and will be degree qualified. Ideally applicants should have a minimum of 8 years experience as a maritime engineer.
Engineers without direct Maritime experience, but have solid heavy civil design experience (bridge, tunnel, temporary works, underground structures etc…) will still be very much considered.
You will be required to undertake design schemes for major new build and refurbishment port project in Africa.
This post has come around due to a significant project win and the right individual can start immediately.
Our client offers this role on an Outside IR35 basis and a hybrid working patten can be adopted.
