Contract Manager Job, Chiswick

A well-established Property Management Company based Near London is looking for a Contract Manager to join there FM team in Chiswick. The Contract Manager will be expected to manage all aspects of operational, compliance and budgetary processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the Engineering Team, Reactive and Planned Maintenance and other associated functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Line Management responsibility for the Engineering Team and/or Operational Support Team
    * Ensuring that SLAs and KPIs are achieved for operational delivery for both Reactive and Planned Maintenance activities
    * Management of the supply chain – including sub-contractors and suppliers
    * Attending Weekly and Monthly Client meetings
    * To provide technical and operational support and advice to the engineering & operational team
    * To manage and submit 6 weekly report and compliance information to the Operations Manager and Client
    * To support the Operations Manager
    * Manage WIP – Including scheduling works, access arrangements, completion of works, answering financial queries and updating key stakeholders with the support of the Lead Contract Support
    * To conduct audits of reactive and planned maintenance activities
    * Resolving escalations from the Helpdesk and the client within reasonable time
    * Managing client/end user escalations and queries
    * Resolving technical issues on site by aiding and support to the engineering team or arranging for specialist sub-contractor attendance
    * Recruitment of staff for vacancies in line with operational budgets and company recruitment policies
    * Liaise with M&E and Projects Manager on Lifecycle Replacement Program
    * Leading on Energy Management and working with Energy Manager daily, including weekly reports for engineering team, monthly reports for landlord, and quarterly reports for client
    * Lead from the front on event support, providing technical advice to Events Manager and suppliers * Provide technical advice to tenants when needed

Person Specification/Requirements

  • Strong understanding and/or experience of a technical discipline in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing. or Heating and Ventilation systems
    * Demonstrable experience within a similar management position
    * Advanced Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or equivalent
    * Ability to lead from the front in times of critical events on site
