Digital Design Systems Analyst Job: Role

The Digital Design Systems Analyst will ensure the most appropriate technology is in place to allow design teams to very rapidly deliver exceptionally high-quality renders.

Digital Design Systems Analyst Job: Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver new technology solutions, to improve quality and efficiency, and ensure that operational systems and hardware are optimised and supported effectively.
  • Manage and implement Proof of Concepts and Projects for new technologies and workflows.
  • Resource and cost estimates for budgeting, work requests and projects.
  • Meet with specialist teams to understand IT requirements and issues.
  • Administration, maintenance, and support of the high-performance environment including Render Farms and computational fluid dynamics clusters.
  • Manage and maintain the Virtual Reality as a Service hardware and processes.
  • Identify and address the training needs of design staff to ensure they are making the best use of technology and workflows.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key software & hardware vendors.
  • Maintaining awareness and compliance with procedures and standards
  • Produce and maintain documentation for reference and training purposes.
  • Monitor and take ownership of incidents/requests to fulfillment and provide customer updates as appropriate
  • Understand and comply with software licensing requirements.

Digital Design Systems Analyst Job: Required Skills

  • Understanding of visualisation technologies & software, rendering and high­ performance computing, render farms and grid computing (CPU and GPU).
  • Autodesk® 3ds Max, Chaos® V-Ray & Corona, Adobe® Photoshop
  • Max OSX, Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Linux
  • Understanding of networking connectivity and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility and prioritise tasks and workloads.

Digital Design Systems Analyst Job: Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of creative pipelines and how technology supports these.
  • Desktop virtualisation technologies.
