My client is a multi-discipline consultancy providing design, engineering, architecture, planning, and advisory services across the built environment. They have roughly 16,000 staff in over 90 offices across 35 countries around the world. I am looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator who can build and maintain the brand through email campaigns, social media, web site content and other marketing initiatives as well as to help generate new business and retain existing customers.

Digital Marketing Co-ordinator Job, Newcastle upon Tyne

Roles and responsibilities

  • Managing and executing the day-to-day marketing of the brand and its product portfolio
  • Working closely with the Business Development Managers
  • Monitoring and controlling the marketing budget
  • Managing email campaigns & lists to ensure GDPR compliance
  • Generation of leads & capturing sales lead data in Microsoft CRM system
  • Working closely with product managers to ensure a steady flow of product news through digital channels, social media and printed media
  • Working with graphic designers and writers to produce marketing material (print & digital)
  • Maintenance of social media presence
  • Promotion of events and products through email and social media
  • Managing the logistics for conferences and exhibitions both physical and virtual

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of B2B sales & marketing, ideally in the software or built environment market
  • Degree preferably in a marketing or communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages and excellent ability to use digital tools
  • Knowledge of social media and digital communication tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc.
  • Previous experience of supporting projects and marketing campaigns from conception through to execution
  • Confident with excellent communication skills and friendly manner
  • Excellent attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills, event management experience,
  • Ability to embrace new technology
