One of the UKs leading building services companies who are committed to providing outstanding service delivery and pride themselves on building long-term relationships are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their busy Marketing Team.

As a Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible to help develop, execute and manage the company’s digital presence both internally within the business through its internal communications strategy and externally through its corporate website and social media accounts. The Digital Marketing Executive will work with the Group Marketing Manager, internal departments and external stakeholders such as the company’s web agency, digital creators and clients to create and distribute digital marketing content that consistently conveys the company brand, culture and tone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination, creation and posting of internal communications content, distributed via the Company’s intranet, for the purpose of staff information and maintaining the company culture.
  • Create and upload written and visual content, conveying consistent branding messaging, across our corporate social media channels and website to increase brand awareness.
  • Proactively liaise with internal departments to understand their business needs in order to identify opportunities for digital marketing content.
  • Maintain a content calendar for social media and the website in order to ensure frequent content updates.
  • Produce monthly social media and website reports based on analytics.
  • Liaise with the Company’s web design agency to make any required changes to the design and/or functionality of the website in partnership with the Marketing Manager.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the importance of digital marketing platforms and their own use of such platforms.

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will have the following skills/experience –

  • Previous digital marketing experience creating visual and SEO-friendly written content for the purpose of increasing brand awareness.
  • Previous experience managing corporate platforms such as social media accounts and websites using appropriate content management and scheduling systems such as WordPress
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent copywriting and technical skills in order to produce high-quality, compelling written and visual content with consistent brand messaging across multiple digital platforms using various software packages including the Microsoft 365 suite
  • A motivated self-starter who is enthusiastic and confident working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, timekeeping and organisation skills in order to meet deadlines, be flexible and patient when working with others and be able to take ownership of their responsibilities and work independently to fulfil them.

Desirable skills

  • Work experience within a B2B environment and in particular, the construction/building services industry would be desirable.
  • A qualification in Marketing/Communications would be desirable.
  • Experience in using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop in order to create and edit marketing content is desirable, as is experience working with Google Analytics to produce reports and MailChimp to distribute email newsletters.

Benefits:

  • Annual holiday entitlement is 23 days in the complete holiday year, increases to 26 days after 1 complete years of service and increases further to 31 days after 5 continuous years’ service.
