Executive Sous Chef for Top Island Resort. Job, Fiji

We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join a leading resort in Fiji. The successful Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for directing the training, supervising, and coordinating all areas within the culinary department. This role will suit an Executive Sous Chef who has experience in remote island locations within the luxury hospitality sector.

This role will suit an Executive Sous Chef who has 3 years experience in a similar capacity, who has a strong passion for training and can lead multiple teams at a time.

You will be responsible for approx 40 staff across 5 eating outlets and 3 staff restaurants. You will interact with guests to help create a personal experience for them. The resort also has its own farm and therefore you will work closely with the farm manager to ensure all necessary products will be available.

This role will suit a canddiate that can adapte to island life and can work well under pressure.
