Facilities Co-ordinator (12 month maternity contract) Job, Fleet
Are you looking for a new and exciting Facilities role? I am working with one of the UK’s largest online job sites as they are looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join their team for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract due to up-coming maternity leave. The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail, to be a self-starter and have previous Office/Facilities Management experience. This is an office-based role which will require you to be within a commutable distance of the Head Office in Fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Front of house duties such as greeting visitors, both in person and on the intercom
- Managing the daily maintenance and general upkeep of the company premises, ensuring they are kept in good condition and arranging necessary repairs
- Owning the emergency response processes/procedures
- Liaising with, and overseeing the work of, external contractors
- Managing all external building contracts and associated costs via an internal servicing schedule
- Organising the office layout and managing desk/office moves
- Acting as first line support for the business to resolve all facility and logistical requests
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements
- Performing Risk Assessments, Evacuations, Building security and other necessary assessments
- Conducting statutory and mandatory checks including Fire Alarm Testing and Emergency equipment checks
- Helping establish and maintaining office procedures/guidance/policies
- Managing contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office leases
- Maintaining supplies of office stationery and equipment
- Updating and reporting to Senior Management on required works and priorities on a regular basis
Requirements
- Previous soft FM experience in a similar position is essential
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems and to take initiative
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and a hands-on attitude
Hours & Benefits
· Mon – Fri 9am – 5.30pm
