Helpdesk Manager Job, Watford

A well-established and ambitious HVAC company based in Watford are looking for a FM Helpdesk Manager to join their team due to exciting growth and there ever-expanding client base. For over 20 years my client has been offering a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment in both the public and private sectors.

The Helpdesk Manager will need to be highly organised and will be responsible for a portfolio of clients. The day-to-day responsibilities will be to efficiently manage the service and maintenance operations ensuring clients expectations are exceeded.
In order to achieve the set targets, the service manager will oversee service quality standards and productivity of the engineers.
Producing high quality information for clients.
The Service manager must also ensure continuous improvements as well as maintaining and growing client relationships to ensure contract retention.
It is expected that the Service Manager is able to demonstrate a level of technical ability and be confident leading technical conversations with service engineers & clients discussing systems as well as service and maintenance works, schedules and remedial works.

Skills and experience

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

IT skills Software based
Excellent organisation skills
Proven client facing / customer service experience
Leadership skills

Basic Salary £35,000-£45,000 (dependant on experience)
Car Allowance (£350 per month) / public transport covered
