Our client is a trail-blazing, 80 strong, Employee owned Trust which has a focus on design, education and communication related to the built environment. The trust is made up of a few companies, structural & civil engineering, Communications Design & Architectural Design. The companies have delivered award winning projects across the globe and across many sectors. This role will be supporting the HR Business Partner with the full employee lifecycle but will have a strong focus on recruitment within the trust.

HR People Assistant Job, London

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the HR BP with the full employee lifecycle
  • Assist with the upkeep of the HR systems e.g., payroll updates, new joiners, off boarding leavers, absences etc.
  • Assist with all HR and Payroll related correspondence e.g., employee letters, offer letters, contracts of employment, Trust wide emails etc.
  • Support with payroll, collecting data and documentation to deadlines
  • Assist with all things Wellbeing, work with the People group to ensure the business is supporting employees
  • Support on various HR Projects including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing
  • Assisting with learning and development across the trust
  • Responsible for the recruitment process across the trust
  • Liaising with externing recruitment agencies
  • Responsible for the onboarding of new starters/leavers (offer letter and contracts of employment)
  • Work with the HR BP tp enhance wellbeing in the workplace
  • Oversee integrity of data the HR database to ensure smooth and efficient running of payroll etc

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years in a HR Support role
  • At least 1 year internal/agency recruitment experience
  • Good understanding of employment law and legislation
  • Understanding of GDPR
  • Working knowledge of PeopleHR/BambooHR (Desirable)
  • CIPD Qualified/HRM Degree level qualified (Desirable)
