Learning and Development Manager Job, City of London

We are currently working with a global a multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in sustainability who are looking to expand their HR team. We are looking for an HR professional who has worked specifically in Learning and development. A hybrid flexible role that offers a lot of growth and the opportunity to help spearhead the development of the L&D function.


  • Provide responsive, effective and efficient learning and development support including the administration and delivery of personal development reviews, talent programs and the provision of monthly reporting information, together with research and presentation of findings as appropriate.
  • Act as primary contact point for the PDR, Skills Development and Talent retention process.
  • Manage the implementation of Skills Development and personal development reviews (PDR)
  • Manage the implementation of PDR, training and development and talent management Policies
  • Support the wider HR team in maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
  • Daily management and delegation of the administration and processing of PDRs, talent and training and development for employees, including the accurate recording of information
  • Ensuring management and compliance of mandatory training
  • Maintain personal knowledge and CPD by attending educational workshops and webinars and reviewing publications
  • Maintain staff records into an online management system and training record database, together with extraction of such data as required
  • Addressing current working practices to maximise office and time efficiencies
  • Define appropriate skills and talent development materials and programmes to provide effective and innovative solutions.
  • Attending conferences and seminars as appropriate and reporting findings

The Person:

  • You will have proven experience in the delivery and administration of personal development reviews and talent management programs
  • A Good understanding of personal development and talent management processes and terminology
  • Previous experience within the consulting or construction industry (desirable)
  • Experience of web-based HR, PDR, talent and Skills Development systems (desirable)
