You will be working in the Pharmaceutical sector so having experience in this is highly desirable, they are leaders in Professional Services to the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharma and sectors internationally so you will have the chance to work with the experts in this field.

Due to consistent work winning and successes within the UK market they are recruiting for a M&E Quantity Surveyor (this is where you come in) to work on sector specific projects across Scotland.

Your Main Duties:

• Pre- and post contract duties, including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation and finial account..
• Performing cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering: negotiate and approve final accounts
• Interfacing with clients, other consultants at all project stages
• Completing cost feasibility studies and writing procurement reports

Your Skills:

• Experience heavily focused within in M&E is essential
• Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, internally and externally
• Proven cost and/or commercial management experience, ideally within a consultancy
• Proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project life cycle

Your Qualifications:

• Professionally qualified (advantageous)
• Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or similar)
