Main Purpose of Role The main purpose of this role is to support the analysis, design and development of Nuclear Training Material to support key business priorities and programmes of work. Whilst the role will report to Management, the individual will be expected to be self-motivated, and able to develop/modify programmes of work to ensure effective delivery.
This role is expected to be required for 6 months from commencement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competences Minimum 5 years experience as a Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) practitioner/ Training Development Manager with experience of working in the submarine enterprise, or a similar nuclear environment.
SC Security Clearance is Essential before starting the role, so candidates either need to hold this currently or be eligible to undergo.
Experience of conducting Job Competency Analysis is essential.
Proven experience of conducting training analysis, design and development in complex, Nuclear or high-hazard industry environments
Excellent communication skills to enable effective communication with all levels
Experience of working within the nuclear submarine environment is desirable
Experience in the management of processes and adhering to governance structures in a regulatory environment
Recognised qualifications in an appropriate Technical or Management Discipline or demonstrably equivalent experience
Nuclear Plant Foundation Course Module 1 (or equivalent from another Nuclear Sector)
Desirable: CIPD Level 3 Learning & Development
Level 3 or equivalent Nuclear Plant Foundation Course Module 1 (or equivalent from another Nuclear Sector)
