The successful Project Civil Engineer will be responsible for the internal day-to-day management of small to medium sized Civil Engineering projects and engineering solutions for numerous schemes. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative, work well co-ordinating with the team and have high attention to accuracy and detail. The candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and to coordinate their work with others, with high attention to accuracy and detail.As such, there must be demonstrable technical ability and design experience on matters of estate infrastructure, roads and drainage design and detail; experience with design and detail of schemes requiring technical approval of S38, S278 and S104 applications, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies, whilst not essential, will be advantageous to a candidate. Good communication, report writing skills and thorough working capability with AutoCAD and MicroDrainage are essential; familiarity with design software such as PDS and Civils3D is desirable and development of skills in these will be provided, if not already held.A self-motivated person will have ample opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills, experience and to work with some of the world's greatest businesses across a wide range of industry sectors. The role will suit a candidate with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant post-graduate experience and pursuing their Chartered Engineer status with either the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers. In this respect, an internal mentoring and fully-funded training programme aimed at supporting the individual's progression to Chartered Engineer status will be provided.
