✔Experience of consultancy environment

✔Superb client management skills

✔Experience of residential, education, commercial, public sector or bespoke projects

✔Previous experience of one off schemes to multi million pound construction projects

✔Ability to integrate with architects, engineers and clients to ensure project success

✔Chartered and experienced in a similar role

Headline of the key elements of the Chartered Quantity Surveyor role:

  • Review costs of proposed projects
  • Advise and communicate with client on potential alternative costs solutions
  • Lead and provide advice on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed
  • Communicate and engage with all parties on the cost implications of different construction methods
  • Prepare tendering documentation
  • Manage the costs associated with project lifecycle of the construction stages
  • Oversee and lead client meetings, communicating with all associated parties involved with the projects
