Senior Air Quality Consultant Job, Berkshire

A senior air quality consultant is required to joined an expanding air quality team with a successful and innovative practice. They are looking for somebody with a demonstrable history in air quality and you’ll have 3-6 years’ post-graduate experience in air quality monitoring and assessment work.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking desk-based air quality and odour assessments
  • Desk-based environmental baseline data collection and interpretation
  • Ambient and Indoor air quality, odour, and dust monitoring
  • Undertaking site-based monitoring including site assessment, preparation, and maintenance
  • Advanced dispersion modelling of road traffic emissions, point/area/volume sources fora range of projects including residential, industrial, and transport developments
  • Use of geographic information systems (GIS) to build models and present results
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Data processing and analysis of air quality, emissions, and meteorological data supporting air quality assessments
  • Analysis of various data sets including road traffic and energy system information

Project delivery

  • Lead / Manage the technical delivery of multiple projects
  • Coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Work as part of a small, integrated, progressive team
  • Attend and contribute to design team, client, pre- and post-contract meetings
  • Liaison with project team members and local authorities to agree to an approach andobtain the inputs needed for assessments
  • Manage own workload and work to deadlines and budgets
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports
  • Preparation of figures

  • Lead / Manage tender and proposal preparation
  • Contribute to the winning of new business through the preparation of sales material, and market research
  • Contribute to repeat business with existing clients through providing a high-qualityprofessional service and building strong client relationships
