In order to be considered it is essential to have studied a relevant degree such as Civil Engineering from an accredited University and have a minimum of 5 years UK based consultancy experience. Experience should include highways and drainage projects in which you have had exposure to a broad spectrum of projects of varied sizes. Highways experience should include awareness of Section 278 and Section 38 and also understanding of Section 104 & 106 in which you have the technical competence to execute these aspects of projects to still regulation.
Due to the seniority of this role, the ability to lead and support more junior engineers and technicians in important as well as liaising with various stakeholders on projects such as clients, contractors, planning authorities. Software experience should consist of Auto CAD, Civils 3D and WINDES Microdrainage.
The consultancy have a great Central London location and offer great support when it comes to the progression and development of their Engineers. Chartership support and mentorship is available thanks to the expertise of Engineers and Technicians within the business who really place an emphasis on advancing their staff through the business.
Due to the on-going pandemic interviews will be conducted virtually but there are very realistic time frames in place to get the chosen candidate started as quick as possible.
