Senior Electrical Design Engineer Job, England

We have a current opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Berkshire For further information about this position please apply.

The role will involve:

• Dealing with the electrical services design from RIBA Stage 2 on-wards.

• Attending design team meetings and site meetings with clients of a varying nature.

• Producing accurate documentation in the form of written specifications of electrical services, equipment schedules.

• Producing cable sizing calculations using Amtech and lighting design layouts using Dialux.

• Managing the workloads of Junior/ Intermediate Electrical Design Engineers.

• Acting as the lead engineer on the project and ensuring that it is running to budget and on time in terms of the design and construction phases.

Key requirements:

• A degree/ masters degree in Building Services Engineering

• A professional accreditation with either CIBSE or IET (preferably chartered)

• A good working knowledge of Revit, Naviswork and Amtech/ Dialux.

• Ideally 5-7 years of post graduate experience as an engineer.

• The ability to manage multiple projects of varying deadlines.

• Up to date knowledge of BS Standards.

• Strong problem solving skills and an analytical mindset.

• An ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
