Senior Mechanical Design Engineer London Outside IR35 £40 Per Hour. Long Term Contract - Minimum 6 months. This Consultancy based in London are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team and be part of some large residential and commercial projects. Priding themselves on values, this has contributed to the many successful partnerships they have over the years. Heading up the design team you will be involved from the very beginning. Mentoring less experienced engineers and attending site visits, experience on this is key. ResponsibilitiesComplete survey work and site inspections Manage client relationships on specific projects Allocate and manage project specific workload of Graduates, Project Engineers and Admin staff Manage commercial aspects of projects they are working on including responsibility for management of project income and costs Look for additional opportunities within existing and new client relationships Undertake design calculations using various methods, from hand calculations to software-based modelling QualificationsHold at least a HNC or degree level. Experience in residential, education and commercial sectors with 5 year's experience.
