As a Senior Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning and scheduling of our projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate closely with the project management team, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Senior Project Planner Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying any deviations from the schedule and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project inputs and resources.

Senior Project Planner Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a project planner or scheduler, preferably in the energy or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project planning software (P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to project planning and execution.
