Working for an International Luxury Hotelier brand a Regional Senior Quantity Surveyor you will focus on new development projects and a few Refurbishments. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the Lead Commercial Manager to deliver on exciting new projects Worth over 1B. Here you will take ownership for financial procedures including ensuring that cash flow figures for the project are accurately kept, allowing the client to draw down on the correct project funding requirements each quarter.

Senior QS Job, Saint Lucia

Duties Include:

  • Drive commercial best practice of sub-contract packages
  • Provide feedback to contractors on project package completion
  • Develop initial project budget and agree detailed cost plan with the Lead Commercial Manager for agreement with the professional team
  • Monitor and ensure that works undertaken are fully authorised at all times.
  • Oversee and monitor the bid package tender schedule
  • Prepare final account reconciliation
  • Create regular budget and price updates
  • Update computerised cost control system
  • Prepare monthly cost and progress report for interior directors
  • Take active responsibility for all financial procedures in conjunction with the Lead Commercial Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of successfully being involved in large projects
  • Consultancy or Client-side experience
  • 10+ years post grad working experience within QS
  • Strong experience of supporting projects that were in budget and on time
  • You should be someone who can bring good experience of working on Resort/ hospitality projects or projects in Real estate
  • Ideally have an industry-recognised building qualification in Quantity Surveying
