The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in which you will have studied a relevant field including Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University. As well this it is essential to have between 3 – 5 years post graduation experience in which you have worked for a UK based consultancy where you have had involvement in varied projects so far which demonstrate your understanding of building structures. Those nearing Chartership would be preferred as this particular consultancy really places an emphasis on having Chartered Engineers within the business to support projects but also your progression within the business. Experience with Robot or Tekla Structures is also a requirement.
This consultancy have a considerable presence in which they have a number of offices across all corners of the country meaning you will have the chance to join a highly reputable business with endless opportunities. The consultancy work across a variety of projects from residential and commercial to health care and leisure based projects up to £250 Million in construction value. Due to the nature of the business, it will give you the unique opportunity to gain exposure to different projects as well as being involved from concept to completion.
On offer is a salary of between £35,000 – £42,000 as well as a strong package including associated holiday and pension contributions and bonuses based upon performance. Flexibility in terms of working from home a few days a week are also being put in place post pandemic.
